Slip and fall accidents occur when a person is injured because of a dangerous condition on another person’s property. These accidents are also called premises liability claims, because the owner of the premises may be liable for any injuries that happen on their property. A slip and fall case may not, by its name alone, seem like a very serious accident. However, slip and fall injuries can be as severe, including death or traumatic and permanent brain injury.
